Pop My Birds!

Filed Games | Tagged:Games

Hello! Please download our new game Pop My Birds! It's now available in iOS!

You can download it here: Pop My Birds iOS

Pop My Birds (PMB) is a fun and addictive gridless Match-3 type game where players link together matching cute birds to pop their bubble prisons and free them. The Evil Poacher has trapped the cute birds inside bubbles. It is all up to you to save them! It's literally all in your hands! (or fingers). Pop as many birds as possible within the time limit to get a higher score.

Pokemon and Nintendo

Filed Games | Tagged:Games

Pokemon had been a huge part of Spotcat. (Pokemon Bank just released!) We talked a lot about Pokemon and we even had a mini Pokemon battle tournament. (Tyranitar and Aegislash... *SMH*). Some of us enjoyed Pokemon ever since the first releases of the game on the first ever Gameboy.

Aside from Pokemon, we also enjoyed a lot of other Nintendo titles like the Super Mario games and the Legend of Zelda games. Like a lot of gamers, Nintendo games are a huge part of our lives. So huge that the recent news about Nintendo shakes us just like all the other people in the industry.

We can't imagine Nintendo going out of the video games industry or go to another industry. Like go back to the love hotel business...The world needs Nintendo. I need Nintendo. I love Nintendo.

Live on Nintendo.

PS: We're open to developing games with Nintendo! :D

First Meetup 2014

January 25, 2014

Even though Spotcat has a work-at-home/anywhere setup, we meet at least once a month to talk about current games, to brainstorm about game ideas, and of course, to have group bonding. For the month of January, our agenda is to test and discuss new game designs

We went to Mall of Asia and had a yummy lunch at JatuJak, a thai resto

Then, we had a discussion at Cafe Breton, accompanied with delicious desserts! (yum)

Ken, Mike, Rochie, Ingrid and Justin discussing about the new game design, taking note of the flaws and advantages in terms of developing and publishing.

Analyzing and studying it carefully

Trying out the new game design

And here's Barbie, one of our developers - I mean one of the dev's furdoggy.

That's basically it

Please email us for inquiries and Like us on Facebook!

Chrichele Balcos

"Kitche" might be a neophyte in the video game industry, but her determination and persistence to learn and do things sets her apart as a standout among developers. Her determination is converted into awesome outputs which would just get more awesome as she gains more experience.

Hello World!

Hello! We are pleased to launch our new website. I hope you like it. This would still be improved as we update new features. This would be our temporary blog as we fix some aspects of our website.

2013 had been a good year for Spotcat, compared to our previous years. We've managed to partner up and work with some of the great people in the industry. Thanks. Aside from that, 2013 was the year that Spotcat grew and matured as an indie game developer. Our team grew as people, who not only enjoy video games but are also armed with the skill and determination to do one, had joined us. Thanks. Our 12- man strong team is looking forward to making more games from 2014 and beyond. We are also expecting help from other people (freelancers and partners) to come to our aid, as we will also come to their aid if they summon us as the need arises.

We are excited for 2014. We are still open to partnerships to make games and apps with others. We are also considering pushing our own IP games. We hope that our pitches to publishers and potential partners would push through and reap mutual benefits.

Aside from making and playing video games... we also sing...

Play board games...

Shoot (blunt) arrows...

Or party the night away...

Develop games or apps with us... Quotes and estimates are available upon request... ^_^
